The following are some of the major community service projects carried out in the year 2005-06.
Panchayat school at Mogappair was adapted for infrastructural development. In the first phase of development compound wal and toliet block were built. The flooring was re-laid in some class rooms. A borewell was dug up and pipe lines laid for water supply at needed places in the school.
The project cost was Rs.150,000. This will be an ongoing project and within short time the club is certain that the school will become one of the best schools in that area in terms of its infrastructure.

at a cost of Rs.150,000.
This will be a permanent project.

Some of the medical camps held during the year:

- TB Screening camp at Vysarpadi. 250 people screened
- Eye camp at Kanakamma Chartram village. 600 people were screened. As a follow-up 160 eye surgeries were carried out at Sankara Hospital, Pammal.
- Dental camp at Vyasarpadi. 300 people were benefited.
- General, pediatric, orthopaedic and gynecological check up camp at Kannathur Rotary Center. More than 500 people participated.
- Blood donation camp at MGR Janaki college. 60units of blood collected.

A District seminar on "Life style modification" was conducted with expert panel in the fields of cardialogy, psychiatry, physiotheropy, dieting and yoga. More than 400 people participated.
