Fifth National RYLA for Challenged was conducted.
350 Participants from various States like, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Bihar, Orissa, etc, participated. Sports,Talent shows, Cultural events were conducted.

Inter-School quiz was conducted with participation from 14 top schools in Chennai. Mr.Sumanth Raman was the quiz master.

Interact clubs at Sankara School-Pammal, National Matriculation School-Kathipara Junction, Vidyodhaya School- T.Nagar and Karthikeya Matriculation School- Vadapalani installed and their activities monitored through out the year.
