One of the long time wishes of RC Meenambakkam came true on 14th Oct 2006. Our club inagurated a new Rotaract Club at ICFAI National College,West Anna Nagar.
The new Rotaract Club was inagurated in an impressive function held at the College Campus.This College is an exclusive one for MBA courses, a part of ICFAI, a well known management college with a vast network throughout India.
The inaugural function was organised mainly by students. The Management of ICFAI made excellent arrangements for the function. Rtn.S.Balachandar, District Chairman Youth Service 2006-07 was the Chief Guest.
ICFAI co-ordinator Mr.Pradeep welcomed the gathering of over 50 students, staffs, ICFAI executives and Rotarians. He delivered a motivating speech. Mr.Arokiyaraj was then installed as the Charter President for the year 2006-07 along with his team of office bearers. In his acceptance speech, Mr Raj assured that his team would perform well in the very first year itself. He was a Rotaractor from Loyala College.
Chief Guest Rtn.Balachandar in his key note address motivated all the members and appreciated the ICFAI Management for the initiative. The meeting ended with a formal vote of thanks by the newly installed Vice President Mr.Siva Prakash.
Rotarians RagavendraRao, Mukku, VTM. Thiru and C.R.Raju attended the function. Three cheers to our Youth Service Director Rtn.P.Sridhar who played a key role in the formation of this Rotaract Club.
